delaying period unrelated to pregnancy?

hi, this is sort of TMI so forgive me in advance but i am going to be getting married in a few months. it seems like the first day of my period is going to fall on my wedding day, which sounds nightmare-ish to me. i have a lot of physical symptoms related to my period. i found online that you can delay your period using medication, but i don’t want to violate the teachings of the Church in any way regarding birth control etc. if anyone could inform me if this would be an ok thing to do during my wedding and maybe 3 days of my honeymoon plz let me know (and if it would not be ok — i don’t want to do anything wrong, just don’t want to be in pain)
