Fecal elastase level

Hello all, My symptoms started a long time ago and became much worse over the past 3 years.They include getting full very quickly after a small meal, nausea, constant stomach noises and burping, upper abdominal pain, and my BMI is 13.5. For years I kept reading, researching, and taking tests, but nothing led to a diagnosis.

One day I tried digestive enzymes, and strangely they reduced my symptoms by around 60%. Nothing else had ever helped me this much.After researching, I read about EPI and became convinced it was my condition.

For the past 5 months I have been taking digestive enzymes with every meal, and afraid to eat without them. I decided to do a Fecal elastase test so I could hopefully get a prescription and switch to better enzyme brands like Creon or Zenpep.

When the result came back, it was shocking: >800.

My elastase level was completely normal, even ideal.I do not understand how it can be normal when I feel unable to live without digestive enzymes.So what could my diagnosis actually be?

I thought I had finally reached the end of this journey, but unfortunately not
