Anyone have any advice for last month Seniors?

I have had this group of seniors for two years now. It is a small class of 85 students and we have certainly had bumps in the road but overall they have been a good class. That said, this past years as seniors their behavior was worse overall than it was when they were juniors and these last couple of months espcially have been rough.

A lot of eye-rolling, a lot of phones just out in the open, a lot of pushing back against work.

This is my third year as a teacher, but my first year with seniors and I want to ask if this is just the norm across the board or if this is something stronger classroom mangement at the beginning would have fixed? I love this group and overall am happy I have been with them for two years, but these two weeks have been tough.

Any advice?
