Is a career change from Health Educator to Registered Dietician worth it? I have a master's degree in applied nutrition.

I am debating if it would be would be worth going back to school to become a registered dietician. I currently work as a health educator in local public health. The career has been feeling like a dead end due to current political opinions on public health. I am making just enough to live in an apartment but the cost of everything is making it harder and harder. My higher ups have made it pretty clear that I am never going to move up either. I currently make about $30 an hour

I have looked for jobs elsewhere but I haven't had any luck after looking for about two years. I have always had a passion for nutrition. My bachelor's is in human nutrition and my master's is in health education. I had the opportunity to get my master's in applied nutrition a few years ago for free thinking I would eventually work on becoming registered dietician. However, financial things occurred where I couldn't do it then and I never got around to it.

I am thinking about becoming a registered dietician again because my future in health education feels like a dead end. I was curious if anyone had any opinions related to my situation.
