i started a tiny solo habit to cope with life and it actually helped?
i'm not great at posting here, but i'm hoping to get some ideas. life feels heavy lately, with money worries and that awful sense that nothing ever changes. i'm after a wholesome, solitary thing i can do to help take the edge off, even if it's just a few minutes a day.
i tried a tiny routine: a 20-minute walk most evenings and then a line in a cheap notebook. it's nothing fancy, but it's something i can do alone, no pressure. the turning point came last night when the sky looked kinda hopeful and i kept walking longer than i planned. a stray dog trotted along beside me for a block and i actually smiled, which felt oddly nice.
i'm not sure if this will add up to much in the long run, but it's a start and it doesn't cost a thing. what solo activities have actually helped you, especially if money's tight?
