Is farming bugged ?

My farm is acting really weird some crops are not growing despite being watered and in fertilized soil and ones right next to them are 2 growth stages past. Im using extra info and some are showing negative times too.

Farming was already complicated enough why would they change it or make it harder. Makes no sense.
