Workhorse Clean amp Recommendations
Looking for guitar amp recommendations if anyone has any. I'm historically a marshall guy but now have a yamaha with unique strong sounds that are quite nice - DG60-112 is the model. It's been good for bedroom and small shows but i'm wanting something that simply just sounds nicer and is a little more durable - I've had to clean/minor fix this amp several times as it is 25-ish years old.
What I'm looking for:
-very high quality sounding. I've been playing and recording for almost 20 years. So far, i've been shopping for fender bassman, dr. z, mesa/boogie, milkman...
-no combo. pref a 20-50 watt head and then a 2x12 or maybe 4x10 cab.
-I'm happy with a simple knob layout if that's all that's needed but otherwise love my EQ and master volume.
-clean sounds. love those glisteny and loud sounds. i do not want something that breaks too fast.
-I use 2 delay pedals, 2 compression pedals, and then a distortion - FYI. nothing crazy. I tend to rely on the tone of just the guitar and amp.
-I'm located in california and i'm sure there are lots of cool boutique brands. Unique brands and styles are good.
Let me know if anyone has any good pointers!! Thanks in advance!
