Moving in the right direction

My boyfriend (40M) and I (26F) have been together for nearly three years. Though if someone told me this three years ago, I would’ve never believed them. Now we’ve been living together for about a month. The move was pretty rough. But now that the stressful part is over, I feel like we’re finding our equilibrium.

We also went out last weekend. One guy asked my boyfriend if I was his girlfriend (in a non-judgmental way, people love us at raves it seems). My boyfriend responded saying I’m his wife lol. He also said that I’ll be “the queen of his heart” once we’re married (apparently I have princess status now). I told him he’s already my everything. Substances may or may not have been involved, but I still stand by what I said. And it’s nice knowing the sentiments are there in him for the substances to bring out, if that makes sense.

Even though we just moved in and marriage is a long way ahead, it feels good knowing we both want this relationship to go in that direction. He has changed my life in all the best ways and I’m excited to be in for this ride.
