Hello Everyone, I’ve shared this within the PCOS subreddit but would like to share here as well if that’s okay please and I will explain why!

I (23F) have been struggling immensely for nearly two years with debilitating pain which has now frequented to daily and a endless list of full-body symptoms. I have not been able to work for the last 10 months and now have surgery coming up. 

In my original post, I briefly talk about my overall experiences and some symptoms, I’ve tried to keep it as vague as possible to not trigger anybody but please read OP cautiously if you are sensitive to this. (I’ve used this flare just in case but have not attached imaging or gone into great detail!) 

My cousin is diagnosed with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PCOS. We’ve spoken lots and there seems to be a lot of similarities with what I’ve been going through to what she’s went through. Symptoms and things started getting really bad for her when she was around the same age that this is all started for me. I had just turned 22 when my suffering became chronic and I’m 24 in a few months and the pain has only worsened. 

I had an MRI scan of my pelvis in March to look for Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis as well as Adenomyosis which came back “clear”, however they found a big mass attached to my right ovary which they are unable to identify. My specialist said that this mass is not a cyst (assuming he was referring to my pcos) or fibroid etc and they do not know what it is but it needs to be removed asap and I might loose my right ovary with the mass. 

Basically, I’ve spoken with my cousin and she told me that her colleague (also diagnosed with Endometriosis) had been in similar situation to me where they found a big unidentified mass in pelvis too. 

**I’m wondering if anyone here has been in a similar situation before diagnosis or after?** 

My surgery is in 11 days now and I’m very scared as this is my first surgery and I have been chronically unwell with debilitating pain and symptoms without answers for nearly 2 years now. 

I understand that the mass shouldn’t be in my pelvis and it’s probably one of the main things causing a lot of issues with my bladder, bowels and pelvic pain but:
