My super close friend just passed M23, and I am F28 I am dating a M29 year old. He keeps talking about sex like everything's fine and like we used to before, but I am grieving. What do I do?
So as the title says, I lost a close friend. I am in pain I am grieving. He took me out on a date comforted me I was in pain and I won't lie I do have needs so I made out with him whilst sad. It's a mix of emotions, and I intially said wait for another day for that stuff but he insisted and i was all over the place and agreed bc I usually like it. Nothing wrong happened - i liked it but mentally and emotionally i know i need more time to grieve and I don't want to do sexual things right now. He sent me a card sympathy today and lunch but he also texted that on our date sunday all the explicit things he intends to do to me. I am very sad today i told him i am very sad and i am getting slightly frustrated thinking like is he a bit out of touch or timing issue its something about it thats frustrating me. He said he wants to care for me and loves me and will do anything i tell him that would help but i remember after crying and he kissed me and t was affectionate but turned into making out and I didn't want to do that initially on the date i wanted to be understood and held and I just wonder about future things. Like unfortunately death is a part of life, if he handled me grieving this way and it had been a family member i maybe would have murdered him (not actually) but you know. I feel stirred up, i care about my bf i am sad about my friend. I can't think clearly and I need an outside perspective. he is doing some stuff to make me feel better but at the same time he can't get sex off his mind and i feel kind of weird about that like really we can't calm down on that, I only found out my dear friend passed Monday. What should I do?
