Why is this game so frustrating.

So frustrating i want to play it 24/7. I’ve been thinking about breaking up with my girlfriend to get more playing time.

On a serious note how does one build up the farm system and keep it? It seems like i build it up decent/ middle of the pack to promote the guys to the majors and then it goes to crap and my owner always wants a good farm system. I hate turning off expectations because I like the chaos at the same time.
