Whats it like living in the All Saints area?
Hey everyone! I am moving to London from abroad to start work in the Shoreditch/ Old St area and finding it difficult to decide where to live. Being within a 40min walk would be ideal but most of the properties I find in this area are £1000 pcm for a house share before bills! But maybe this is because I am looking so far in advance? Not moving for another 4 months.
Anyways, I found a nice looking flat in the North Canary Warf/Poplar area (not sure what the area is called that's what it looks like on Google maps) and the closest tube station is Allsaints, which is the DLR. Would this be a bad choice considering it's not a night tube? I travel a lot, what is the best way to get to airports from here? Bus from Stratford? Any insights on the area would be great. I have previously lived near Wood Green and it wasn't really for me. But sometimes street view on Google maps doesn't give you the full picture, I'm wondering what it's like to spend the evenings / weekends here, are there nice parks or cafes nearby ? Any thoughts and insight is appreciated, and thank you in advance!!
