Does God really forgive anyone that is willing?
Hello all,
I was raised Catholic but seemingly drifted away in my early-mid teens. Well, my whole family did at that time. I am in my late twenties now and I've had many mental struggles over the years and just as many (if not more) sinful actions. I felt like ever since the covid "age" began I dealt very dissociated from myself. Lots of depression and anxiety to say the least. Generally, I've been struggling this past 6-7 years to say the least and have not been in the right state of mind. I'll also be completely honest and say there were times I was avoiding calling myself a Catholic or Christian. I do not think I ever fully stopped believing in God, but I have definitely lost my way.
I've recently started feeling the urge to come back to God and my faith and decided today to start reading the bible and praying again as a start. I suppose I only posted on reddit so I could ask those closer to the faith how someone like me can start working on repenting for my sins and come back to God. Is God really willing to forgive anyone?
