Surgery time R4R/C4C

Hey everyone, I recently had a spinal fusion procedure done on my neck and I’ve had some extra time on my hands while I recover. It was hard at first because it hurts to look down but I was able to squeeze out a chapter in the past couple days. I think I’ll be able to do more next week once my neck muscles have acclimated but in the meantime I can use the spare time to read some of y’all’s stories and provide feedback. Post your story below and I’ll do the same. It’s an apocalyptic coming of age story with cats.

Ps: I you submit fan fiction then my feedback will likely be limited to the technical aspects. I would need to be familiar with the fandom to understand the content necessary to judge the story.
