KE70 Corolla - Starter only clicks but won't turn over. Potential ignition switch issue?

I’m having an issue with my 1982 Toyota Corolla KE70. We’ve recently got it running again, but I’m struggling with a persistent starting issue. Even before it was parked a decade ago, this problem existed, and it’s still here now. When I try to start the car, I only hear a loud click from the starter, or dosen't even click. Sometimes it's works perfectly, but sometimes i have to click it like 20 times to start it. My guess was the starter, it wasn't the problem. I also tested the old starter, and it works fine outside the car. The battery is new healthy and fully charged. I checked for corrosion, but everything looks clean. Could it be the ignition switch? Everything helps!
