Lower weight in recovery- how to navigate?

Hey all. I’m two years into recovery, about a year into full recovery. Looking for some advice from people who’ve been through the full recovery (bloat, overshoot, weight res.).

I managed some pretty severe metabolic issues and lipedema in the past few months, as well as finally hit the nail on the head with managing BED. Without getting into too much details, a medication I was on at 13 had severe metabolic side effects that put my caloric needs ridiculously low, which put me in s death loop of restriction behaviors throughout middle and high school.

I feel the need to note that this is super uncommon as well as excaberated by my ED. Until I stopped over-exercising, restricting, and honored food sensitivities for over a year it was only getting worse. The only way I was able to fix this was consistent all in recovery.

I’m now at a point where I weigh less than my EDs low weight. I’m not underweight in the slightest and I’m not having health issues. It just doesn’t fit the narrative for recovery and I’m apprehensive my brain is being sneaky somehow. But I eat what I want, have energy, feel good in my skin, and look honestly much better where I’m at then I was with my ED, since it was natural.

How do you check yourself when you lose weight naturally? I know I’ve had some major life circumstances that have changed my daily habits. I’m happy where I’m at, but I had accepted and was honestly happy with always being a little above average for weight.
