[TOMT][SONG][2010s/2020s] Indie folk/country song

I heard this on WXPN between 2018 and 2023. I think it is contemporary to that period, but it's always possible they were playing an oldie. I doubt though it since I heard it several times. In my head it sounds like Gene Clark or Neil Young or Jackson Browne but pretty sure it's not any of them.

I believe the chorus mentions "summer breeze" or "summer wind". Obviously not "Summer breeze makes me feel fine" or Summer Wind by Sinatra -- those songs both make it impossible to find anything for this on search. This song had something about the passage of time, and something to do with seeds or weeds or wheat or fields. Like the summer wind is blowing the seeds around? Strummy melancholy song with a catchy chorus. In my mind I thought it was Hiss Golden Messenger but I listened through his songs and I don't think it was him.
