[TOMT] Help me find tv series of cartoon I watched when I was in Russia 2000s probably on Jetix

Help me find a 2000s cartoon where a villain sends a disaster to a village that turns everyone to ashes, except for a girl who thinks she can save someone in the village. She hugs a child, but it still turns to ashes. Later, if I'm not mistaken, she becomes the villain's servant. The show may have been on Jetix, but I'm not sure. I know it was an animated series. And girl was with grey skin. Villain have a vibe of Thanos he gathered together such gifted people who survived his attacks (I remember he sent a storm of red beetles, or maybe it was rain)
