Does anyone else’s dad make a simple task such hard work?
So I’ve always helped my dad with DIY stuff around the house and what not; but one thing I’ve realised is everything has to be much harder than it should with him. Like something that should take 30 minutes, ends up taking 2 hours. It’s really draining anytime I’m helping him out, and it just makes a task drag on for days/weeks when it shouldn’t at all. Half the time he spends talking about what we’re going to do instead of actually doing it, then repeats it over and over again, like damn I get the point let’s just start. And everything has to be his way as well so it’s not even like I can just start myself. I just like being productive I guess, and if I’m already spending my time to help you with something then let’s at least get something done. No lie, I was round his house today for 4 hours to help him lay some tiles and we did nothing. He just kept explaining to me what he wants to do then by the time he was finished it was like 5:30pm and I just went home. I was honestly so bored and wasn’t even listening because he must of told me 5 times.
