How compounded tirzepatide dosage works when you have to pause for surgery and what to expect restarting

I'm going in for a minor surgery in about six weeks and my surgeon wants me off glp1 medications for a period before and after. This is going to create a gap in my program and I'm trying to understand what pausing actually means for my dosage, specifically whether I'll be restarting at a lower dose or whether I can pick up where I left off. The dosage question is the part I can't find a clear answer to. I've seen people say you have to restart from 2.5mg no matter what, and I've also seen people say they went back to their previous dose without issue after a short break. I don't know whether that depends on how long the gap is, how the provider handles it, or whether there's an actual clinical standard for this.
