Probably dumb theory

So this is based on a few different things.

1. Soldier Boy exposed Homelander to enriched uranium, which had an obvious effect on him, but Soldier Boy said that it was non lethal to him and the other Payback members when they were experimented on, it just made them sick.

2. Homelander has seemed a little weaker since then, at least in my opinion.

3. Homelander is searching for V1, and it seems like hes somewhat close to getting it.

4. Homelander is weaker than Soldier boy, since he needs the V1 to become immune to the virus.

So hear me out.

Homelander isnt exactly as tough as Soldier boy, since what if the Radiation DID have a lasting effect: cancer. We know from Butcher that cancer exposed to any version of Compound V is enhanced and made into a super parasitic mass.

What if Homelander gives himself the V1, not knowing he has cancer, and it takes root in the cancer and makes a tumorous mass stronger than butchers?

Homelander ascends to godhood, but its not a beautiful shining god like he imagines, but a hideous tentacled monstrosity.

What do you think?

I know its almost certainly not whats happening, but I think itd be a neat escalation.
