I’ve been a student at Acellus Academy since January 2026 and at first, I had a great experience. As someone with disabilities, I fell behind in middle school due to frequent absences, but I caught back up through Acellus. I even completed the 9th grade in exactly 3 months with a 4.0 GPA. For the first time in my life, I actually enjoyed school and completing 40 steps per class a week was easy.

However, the newest update with the smaller font size has made me unable to complete any of my schoolwork this week. Although my glasses are very new, I have blind spots from POTS and I physically can’t read the questions. This new layout is significantly less accessible to not only students like me with vision impairments, but also to students with learning disabilities who already struggle with reading in general.

My mom called Acellus and they told her to email them, but we haven’t gotten a response back yet. I enabled larger text in my iPad but that didn’t work and Acellus can’t be used on Safari. This is causing me a lot of anxiety because I want to graduate early in 2027 and right now, school is impossible for me without a way to increase the font size. I’m posting an image of what the questions in my Accounting classes looked like on April 9 versus April 30.
