People get away with having the worst communication skills

I work a pseudo-corporate job, still at the bottom of the hierarchy after 3yrs, definitely a department work horse. I’m so tired of middle managers and higher ups (and even lateral coworkers) speaking to me as if I’m bottom feeder scum that doesn’t know anything. I do literally everything, I am a team of one. I see all the department email chains, I pay attention to what’s going on insofar as it’s actually communicated to me and the other low level work horses who carry this company.

There is no reason to forward me the same company-wide email 3 times even though I and literally everyone else are in the distribution lists. 98% of the time, these people do not know what they are talking about, they don’t know how to resolve the issues. They are just spamming me with poorly worded half-sentences with a hundred question marks and exclamation points because they neeeeeed their stupid thing right just now - on a Friday afternoon, even though we both know they will not be dragging their entitled butts into the office to come get it. They will make their work horse come get it next week, or next month.

I’m so sick of rude, unprofessional messages from people who couldn’t hold a civilized conversation if their life depended on it, who somehow get paid exorbitant amounts of money yet communicate like neanderthals. I’m sick of not being able to call them on their shitty communication or even being able to ask them to speak more respectfully because then I will be the unprofessional hostile one, I will be the aggressor.

Do not speak to me or anyone else like that. Learn how to talk to people. Learn how to use proper grammar and punctuation ffs! Learn how to structure a full sentence and how to pose a question. Have some manners, use your grown-up human words.
