ETL won't change my job code in Workday from FOS attendant to Guest Advocate

I've been picking uo GM shifts recently. Up until a few days ago I could do audits and now I can't. I told my ETL about it and the solution is to change my job code in workday. ETL said they would do it. I'm clocking in for my GM shift and first thing I am told to do by the lead is to inventory audit this item. I explain that I can't because of an update they made. I then am told to NOT pick up any shifts unless it's fulfillment or front end. I will be given a CA if i'm told to do audits and don't do them and for most of the sales floor shifts I will be told to do them.

Do I ask another ETL or the SD to change it and explain what's going on? I would like to be able to pickup more shifts
