Finally answers!!!!
First off, I’m 27, active in running and weight lifting for almost 8 years. I eat a healthy balanced diet and am in great health. About 3 years ago I started noticing general fatigue, poor recovery, mood swings, low libido along with a few others. I have been to numerous doctors who have done a ton of bloodwork and tests with no abnormal results. They went as far as doing a sleep study, but always fell short when I asked to have my testosterone tested. They would say “we dont test for that until you are in your 30s” or “you are probably too young for that”. Well, I finally convinced my doctor to test me this morning and my total testosterone was at 307. I feel relieved and happy that I pushed for answers because I knew something was off and cant wait to get additional tests to find out whats wrong.
All this to say, stay persistent! Doctors don’t always have the answers and we need to advocate for ourselves!
