My apple USB C cable won’t charge my phone

So my charger isn’t charging my phone (iPhone 16) It’s an apple charger that I got with the phone and the block is also apple, I’ve moved charging locations a few times and attempted to clean but it does look quite clean already and the cord will charge other things (such as my vape) My phone will charge on other USB C cables, apple and other brands, I was hoping someone could try help me troubleshoot this issue or if I should just buy a new cord..?
