Question about storing qPCR plates prior to acquisition
I'm running Thermo's resDNASEQ Quantitative HEK293 DNA Kit and ran into some issues with the software and their team is gonna take a look into it. It's Friday and there's a possibility I won't be able to run it until Monday if they don't get back to me before EOD. The sealed plate is currently sitting in 2-8C. I know generally it should be in there NMT 24 hours considering it contains both master mix and extracted DNA But given how expensive these kits are, I would hate to scrap the plate. Although I'm going to analyze the plate anyways even if it's too late just to see what the recoveries look like. Just wanted to hear other peoples inputs on what may happen to the contents of the plate if it is in the 2-8C too long.
