Lost SL for no reason

In my M44, I killed an Ostwind with my HE shell. In another part of the map, a friendly IL-10(presumably shot) crashes just a second later. I take credit for the killing of the IL-10 and lost SL despite me doing literally nothing to him? I haven’t even shot at planes the whole round.

In the killfeed, it shows that I shot him down with the M107(HE fragment) round. I find it hard to believe or even think it was possible that some fragments of the HE somehow hit the IL-10 that was obstructed and hundreds of meters away right before he crashed
