Having to report my boss because things there are so bad for no reason from top to bottom. She bullies everyone and things are so badly run I almost feel personally responsible just for being an adult in the situation with more power than the kids.

Im reporting my boss or at least talking to someone about her cuz the entire place is a shitshow from top to bottom which isnt entirely her fault but dear God does she find stuff to pick on people for without properly training anyone not even the new manager we got last week. Poor guy showed up on the first day nervous af and literally told us guys I just came here from waffle house and sherry gave me no training at all whenever I ask her she gets mad and says I need to watch videos but I dont learn from videos no one does so please just be patient but youre all doing great. I am a very good employee there because the standards are low, ive been at fast food for 6 years since I was 17 and the last job I had before moving to burger king was McDonald's which is military like efficiency that I actually appreciated cuz at least shit was done even if it was crazy during a rush.

Burger King is the opposite great people other than the boss, we can get our pay same day which is a lifesaver, its a really chill job except for sherry who takes her job as boss way too far. I mean like taking customers water cups away so she personally could fill it with water because they might steal a pennies worth of soda or this one happened a few days ago chewing out the best worker there for using the wrong bag like it was so stupid. Customer had 5 bags of food so obviously she put it all in a doordash bag so its easier to carry. Sherry bitched so hard about that I felt awful for the girl Faith who again best employee there and was doing the logical solution only to get chewed out for it by the boss. As soon as she left I immediately told her dont listen to her you did the right thing thats such bullshit.

Im a little worried about her honestly she looks so stressed out every shift because of her and all the work she does I swear one day shes just going to go off on everyone because they pushed too hard. I always feel worse when I screw up there cuz im making everyone's job harder and they're just trying their best like me and I fucked it up even if its just like an accident or is something I couldn't have known how to do like clean pans after they cooked a ton of bacon and they were caked in grease and grime. Yah Faith took over and they ended having to go outside and hose that shit down I felt awful for doing that to that kid but tbf even she couldnt clean them in the sink like I tried to.

Im reporting sherry for discrimination in general like this bitch literally told me im not allowed to correct people on my name anymore. She is the only one I need to correct everyone else is cool with it like it isnt even a thing there like oh you're actually called this not this and are planning on changing it ok then like they dont even clock im trans its not anything crazy like literally just a normal name that she wants to start drama about. If it was everyone and it was a company thing to deadname me ok fine this is Texas Ive worked in places like that its ok but if its literally only one person thats just them being on a power trip. Its a special kind of entitled to think you can tell someone what their own name is like I cant even see the logic if you call them the wrong name then theyre obviously not going to listen or will correct you.

Shes also ableist as hell literally told me first day that while im doing everything right and my work itself is perfect I need to smile and do eye contact and when I told her I physically cannot do that im autistic she said I dont care thats no excuse when uh thats not an excuse that is I literally cant do facial expressions or whatever correctly and I dont even know im making a weird face till someone says something. A guy my first week who was also autistic had a service dog at home and everything cry because of her bigoted ass literally asked people if she hated him or something cuz he just couldnt understand it poor kid. He still quit the next day after everyone told him thats just how she is, shes the boss and its her right to do that and just keep quiet about it.

So yah she needs to be reported Im 23, moved out last year and going to law school in the fall I don't have to take this and neither do they. Plus I let way worse slide at past work places because my parents would say im overreacting or that it wasnt worth it to get the whole place shut down think of everyone else who'd be out of a job if you reported them. Its a moral thing at this point I'd be a pretty bad lawyer if I just let people off that are acting like assholes because its too scary. Faith deserves a medal and people should get to work in peace at a damn burger king in the middle of nowhere next to the most racist town in America. End Rant.
