Worx Battery Logic vs DeWalt
I watched a YouTube video of a guy reviewing a Worx robotic mower. It runs on tool batteries from Worx. I told him who wants a robotic mower where you have to insert and remove the battery all the time? He told me it's no different than my robotic mower from Segway.
I explained to him the battery in my mower isn't removable and it's being trickle charged just like my vehicles that I hardly ever drive. My Tundra and Accord sit in my garage on Battery Tenders. My mower is set to optimize charging by only filling the battery up to 80% for longevity purposes. My Google Pixel cell phones and Pixel watches do the exact same thing. The phones charge to 80% and the watches only charge to 75%.
I told the YouTuber that you cannot just leave a DeWalt/Milwaukee battery inside of a tool or mower that stays outside. I literally questioned his manhood. I thought this was battery logic 101?
