Question: Steam overlay, Big picture mode issue!

When in-game, I press the home button or Xbox button to being up the steam overlay. It is extremely laggy and unusable. I enabled hardware acceleration but it doesn't do anything. Is there a fix for this?

For me to quit a game I have to wait for it to load each time I scroll down to power option.

Specs: 7900x / 7900xtx nr200pmax. Using gnome, not using bazzite deck mode.
