Explain Taylor Swift's success to me please

I suppose this is another one of those tiresome "I don't get it posts", but I do understand why Taylor Swift is successful. She is the perfect combination of talent and physical attractiveness. I would say "requisite" combination, but the talent part has always been able to be skated around through technology or outright deception. But there's no doubt Swift truly is talented.

What I can't understand is Swift's historic ultra-mega success. What puts her up there in the stratosphere (and sometimes beyond) past megastars like Madonna, Michael Jackson and even Elvis? I can understand why all those artists rose so far above their contemporaries; they each brought something very unique to the table, be it musically or personally. While Swift is talented and her success not surprising, the degree of that success certainly is to me. She's richer and more powerful than God, and she has a legion of fans that worship her as if she is.

So I'm asking everyone's opinion in good faith out of genuine curiosity.
