Legal advice

I was involved in a bad hit and run while walking. I asked for some legal firm recommendations earlier. Some people recommended Abraham Watkins. They would like me to sign a power of attorney. My wife could probably take the power of attorney to be reviewed at a free legal clinic at the VA next Friday. Do you think I should wait or go ahead and sign it?
