Selfie asked? And unmatched

I’m 25G guy was 27M. Talked over hinge for few days shared instagram. Been talking on instagram for few days then he asks me to send my selfie, I am like why a selfie?
He doesn’t answer, unfriends me and unmatched me lol.
What did I do wrong here?
