Primary your sim sent a text message iPhone notification

I was just on a video call to a friend when the notification in the title popped up. First time I’ve ever had it, I’ve checked my settings nothing available for an update, doubled checked to make sure it’s my service provider and my send and receive addresses are correct. It’s concerned me though, is this something to be worried about? Thanks
