Need a generalist lens for my A7C ii - any recommendations?

I'm getting my A7C ii soon (upgrading from an a6000) and I wanted to know, if you could only have one lens to use, what would you choose?

I mainly do street and travel photography.

Would appreciate any recommendations (that don't break the bank)
