Flos dimmer
After two years of thinking, I finally bought a lamp from the Flos IC collection.
There is a dimmer. The dimmer gets warm when using the lamp - and I understod this is ok, as this is where the extra energy goes.
My issue is that the dimmer also gets warm when the lamp is switched off. I tried unplugging (until it’s at room temperature), then plug it (but don’t switch it on) - and it gets warm again.
Does it mean the dimmer is faulty ?
Has anybody a Flos IC lamp at home and could check the dimmer when the lamp is switched off ?
I love this lamp but don’t want to take any risk (nor spend extra energy) so I try to see if I should just return it, or if I could get another one without the warm dimmer. Not easy to find such a lamp in my place, I would need to order a new one to compare.
