Rust has had a severe graphical bug on AMD GPUs for years and Facepunch's response is "Not our problem".
Rust has had a persistent lighting artifact bug on 7000-series AMD GPUs going all the way back to 2024.

The solution presented by Facepunch's support was:
"This is a weird AMD issue we've seen on 7000-series GPUs with no reliable fix other than using higher shadow settings. Set your shadow resolution to maximum in the Rust graphics options."
"The developers have been investigating it for a while but unknown when it can be fixed. Since it only happens on AMD 7000-series cards it's highly likely to be an issue from AMD's side rather than Rust."
Why do I as a player have to chase down AMD for a solution? The only known fix is to rollback to drivers from 2024. Increasing shadow settings does nothing. Facepunch should be hounding AMD for a solution.
