27M anyone in LA wanting to make friends?

I just moved here about a year ago and haven’t really gone out and made friends. It’s kinda hard to be in a new place I’m unfamiliar with. Especially with the culture shock of moving to a different country. To give a little background about myself, I’m into gaming and I love watching movies. I also cook. I’m looking for anyone in LA or OC area to talk to and might have shared interests with. We can start chatting and see what goes on from there.
