Does this hook make sense fast enough? (3D printing subscriber tracker idea)

I’m testing a concept where I print 1 small crown for every new subscriber each week. The goal is to visualize growth physically, but also make it interesting enough to watch.

Does the idea come across quickly enough in the first few seconds?
