Happy May 1st! 🩷✨

i can’t believe it’s May already! my favourite month of the year! and i didn’t even realise!

this year has been a bit crazy for me so far. my partner fell ill early February and had to have emergency surgery and was in hospital for a few months. he’s home now and doing really well but our whole lives and those around us completely changed. it’s been a wild 2026 so far but things are good and slowly getting back to normal. i feel like this year is just going by so fast and just happening to me.

i didn’t even realise it was May 1st! May is my favourite month of the year! i wait all year for this month! it’s my birthday month and i always see my birthday as a brand new year for me. woah typing that out just made me realise something!!

i was messaging a friend today saying how long untill this year is over! and that i don’t want to feel like i want to wish this year away but i want a new start at it! and just then typing out that my birthday is my reset has made me realise i don't have to wish the year away my new start is here!!
