First time styling my hair, what should I go for?

Hii, so I grew out my hair for two years now, it's a bit below shoulder length now and I think it's finally time I get a propper hairstyle. I have an appointment with my hair stylist in about 3 weeks but I can't really decide what I wan't and have no idea if it'd look good on me

I'm not going to upload a picture of my face cause I'm not comfortable with that but my face is really long which I don't really like and I have relatively wavy and thick hair. I researched a bit on the internet and came to the conclusion that I'd really like side swept bangs. Is that a good idea? And what should I do with the rest of my hair? I'd like to keep it relatively long but also have it make my face look rounder and as a whole look more feminine if that's possible.
