Guardian friend request?

I just received the message from the person I sponsor this month and immediately wanted to add them as a friend but then I hesitated…

How do you guys feel about being added by a sponsor / do you add the person that is sponsoring you?

I really don’t wanna put pressure on the other person to accept just because I did something nice. On the other hand I would like to have some kind of connection to my tree friends. I received a friend request from the person I sponsored last month and it genuinely makes me happy to see how they are doing through the app and to send small encouragements and gifts.

I’d really like to know how others see this. I myself get stressed out a lot about expectations other project onto me so I certainly wouldn’t wanna do the same thing.
