Could use some help with my living room.

The couch is new but I want to replace the media console (huge, dark, square) and the coffee table (huge, bulky, square). Those are both hand-me-down things. And I hate the rug! Feeling stuck on replacements. Any suggestions? Maybe a round coffee table or rug?
