When might my lifestyle return to semi/normal?

Hello! I’m a FTM and my little one is 5 weeks old, so I’m new to this. I’ve been feeling very limited in what I can and can’t do due to needing to nurse or pump every 3-4 hours. Will I ever be able to do an activity that takes longer than 4 hours while breastfeeding? Sorry if this is a silly question. I genuinely don’t know what breastfeeding might look like for the future or how this works. I’d love to breastfeed for the first year, but will that mean I have to give up all-day activities and events for a year? For example, I’d like to go on an 8 hour float trip down a river this summer. Is this possible? Would I have to use a manual pump and pump on the river? Thanks in advance!
