Decision fatigue finding a vest!

Howdy! I’m running an ultra in January! Can I even run 5 miles right now? Nope, but I’m on a mission to finish those 62.137 miles.

Anyways! I have a large chest (DDD) and am super accident prone. So I’m looking for a sturdy vest that can take a tumble and keep north and south together comfortably! I also live in a super hot environment, so something cool is a must! A option to add a bladder in the back would be a plus but not mandatory! Price range 🤷🏼‍♀️ (I love thrifting, so I’ll probably buy second hand anyways) and I started living by “buy it nice or buy it twice!”

I’ve been down 2 weeks of rabbit holes on vest, and watched 100s of TikTok’s, read through what feels like 1000’s Reddit post and articles online and can’t make a decision. I’m now so confused on what year make a model to choose from that I think buying a new car would be easier.

I live in no man’s land, so the nearest “retail store” that I could go to, and try on anything is over 3.5 hours away. So it isn’t accessible at this time.
