To glans or not to glans (that is the question)

Hi all,

I’m about 8 months post op stage one RFF phallo. I am eagerly awaiting stage two but have to decide if I should get a glans or not. My heart has always been set on it but due to a complication during stage 1 (I had partial flap loss that was fixed via a graft on one section) my surgeon warned me adding a glans could be a risk. He couldn’t give me any odds or other advice but said a risk for everyone could be losing the tip and I might be more susceptible. I definitely don’t need any more complications and don’t want to lose any length. Has anyone else been in this position? Did anyone get a glans anyway, opt for tattooing and had good feelings about it, or opt out and just not get one?
