Characters or arcs who had a complete change of perception years later?

It's a phenomenon i always was fascinated by. Some stories or characters who were popular at the times become disliked or even hated decades later. And in reverse, stories or characters who were hated at the time but are now beloved?

For exemple, Adam West Batman show is now way more loved as a fun campy comedy with Batman and Adam West being a very good actor, when in the 90s and 2000's it was considered a embarassement who should be forgotten as a relic from the past.

Or in reverse, the Ultimate Universe who was considered a cool and modern more "realistic reinvention of the Marvel Universe is now seen as a bad edgy universe where every characters are assholes (except for Ultimate Spiderman who still hold up).

Any exemples?
