Regain shark week after starting my fitness journey?
Cw: shark week (sorry if this post is not allowed, I'm new to reddit)
So, for the past month I've been attempting to lose some weight and gain muscle. I'm on a 1500-1700 daily calories which I feel is normal considering I'm 5'1 and 68 kg. I do general weight lifting 3-4 times a week and on my odd days go biking for an hour or go on a brisk walk depending on how much recovery I need. Things have gone well and I have lost 1kg though I understand that is mostly water weight for now.
However, the issues have followed as such: low energy, struggle to recover from muscle pain, feeling really low mentally, and the biggest thing, my shark week has returned. Since I started T about 7 months ago, it had disappeared completely so this is not normal for me. I know that dieting can cause hormonal crashes or flutacenes but I didn't think it'd be severe enough to start my shark week. Perhaps it is more related to the stress on my body put on by the exercises I'm doing as I lived a pretty sedentary lifestyle before but I just don't know. I take b-12 because of my vegetarian diet and the pill reguarlly for my shark week and I make sure I eat a good balanced diet with lots of greens and protein so I don't feel my energy levels have to do with that. I really didn't think that my calorie deficty was that large to cause such issues due to my short king physique but I'd like to hear a second opinion on this matter and be educated if I'm wrong.
