Random leg pain and burning, hsv?

My boyfriend is getting tested for hsv soon for a bump that was found on his lip, we did kiss and have oral around the time. I don’t have any sort of cold sores or symptoms other than the skin behind my thighs and knees had a burning pain on the surface. Is this a symptom of hsv? I heard this could be a part of prodrome
